Every once in a while my dad cracks his knuckles and heads off to the garage and produces some marvelous work of art.

Most recently it was this electric ukulele  cut from a big chunk of Huon pine.  I also dusted off these bronze sculptures.  A little statuette of our dog about ten centimeters high and this adorable little Cambrian critter based on fossils found in the Burgess Shale.
